COMMISSIONS

If you see anything you like, but it’s too small, too big or you’d like it in another colour, why not have a commission made. I create art work suitable for large offices, pubs, restaurants, conference rooms, libraries, galleries, museums, waiting rooms - anywhere with a blank wall. I also use a variety of media including oil on canvas, chalk and charcoal, water colour crayons and pencil on paper. I can produce work to any size you wish and together we can create your perfect custom made painting.

Meet Gunnie. She is an adorable patterdale terrier. This pet portrait uses a monochrome approach using various shades of pink and purple and measures 80 x 100 cm. Perfect size if you want people to say "Wow" when they walk into your livingroom!

This the proud old Mr Merlin, a gentle and lovable New Foundland. Although he is jet black dog, the sunlight bouncing off him allowed for a more colourful pallette!

If you are interested in commissioning a pet portrait, please view the guide below for tips on the photographic requirements for producing the perfect pet portrait, lead times, prices and delivery.

Quality of photographs for pet portraits.

I work best with close ups of faces and so it is important the detail in the eyes is very clear.

Please ensure that the photographs supplied be in the highest quality possible. Take as many photos as you wish. With a large choice to browse through, we can arrange the most successful composition.

Payment

Once a size and composition have been agreed, I require a 20% deposit before work can begin. The remaining balance will be due before the art work is shipped off.

If you are unhappy for any reason with the commission, you will be refunded (less the deposit) once the art work is returned to myself in satisfactory condition.

How long will a commission take?

Lead time takes between 2 to 4 months depending on size, subject and drying times

Delivery

Delivery is free within UK.

How will the painting be packaged?

All art work is securely packaged with bubble wrap and board or strong cardboard.

Framing

All paintings are created on stretched canvas which will have hanging string attached to the back and is ready to hang unframed.

Due to the vast choice of frame styles however, framing unfortunately cannot be included with the art. It is best for customers to find a local framer to choose a suitable frame.
